A graduate of Political Science and History, DOINA CIOBANU has gained broad recognition as an influencer, creative mind and model. Labelled twice as one of the most influential fashion icons by Harper’s Bazaar and recognized thrice over for Best Personal Style by Elle magazine she has garnered attention from many elite trades including Vogue, Forbes, The Guardian, The Times and many more. As part of the new millennials who harness and direct the power of digital platforms, her entrepreneurship and brand-value has been tapped by the likes of Forbes, who featured her both amongst their Top 30 under 30 in 2017, not to mention Top 19 Young Entrepreneurs when she was just 19. By participating in speaking engagements including Web Summit, the world’s largest tech conference, and Google’s Startup Grind, she is effective in spreading her message. As an ambassador for No More Plastic as well as Global Survey’s campaign for the UN Sustainable Development Goal no.12, she is actively involved in different social causes including environmental issues and pushing for the fashion industry to become more sustainable. Recently Doina has been pursuing a passion for filmmaking and directing, implementing these skills into her content creation and brand projects, while dedicating her free time to working on her first short film.
