PHOEBE TONKIN has worked locally and internationally since her breakout role as a teenager. She is known for the leading role of Hayley in 6 seasons of the US TV series The Originals. Phoebe’s other US credits include: one of the lead roles in The Secret Circle for CW/Warner Brothers, a re-occurring lead in The Vampire Diaries, as well as lead guest roles in CBS’s series Stalker, Showtime’s The Affair, and HBO’s Westworld. In Australia Phoebe played Olivia in the International Emmy winning miniseries Safe Harbour for SBS opposite Ewen Leslie and Jacqueline McKenzie, and the central character of Young Gwen in Bloom for the STAN Network opposite Byran Brown and Jacki Weaver. Both shows are currently screening on HULU. Phoebe commenced her career as Cleo Sertori in the internationally acclaimed TV series H20: Just Add Water, which screened in over 120 territories worldwide, and for which Phoebe received an AFI nomination for Best Actress in a TV Drama. She starred in the short film ‘Cul-de-sac’ with Oscar winning filmmaker Shawn Christenson which screened at the Tribeca Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival. Phoebe’s feature film credits including lead roles in Tomorrow When The War Began opposite Caitlin Stacey, Bait opposite Xavier Samuel and The Ever After opposite Teresa Palmer. She recently made her directorial debut with her short film ‘Furlough’ starring Markella Kavenagh, Milly Alcock and Ryan Corr with Jessica Carrera of Dollhouse Pictures.
